About
Atlas is WindBorne Systems' global sensing network, made up of what it calls the largest balloon constellation in the world. Its autonomous long-duration balloons continuously collect tropospheric and stratospheric soundings from pole to pole, targeting the roughly 85% of the atmosphere WindBorne says is under-observed, especially over oceans and remote regions. The observation data is sold to government and commercial customers and feeds WindBorne's WeatherMesh forecasts.
