About
The Axe is Skyfly's two-seat fully electric vertically capable aircraft. It hovers on eight fixed-angle electric motors and uses its wings in forward flight, with no tilting motors or rotating wings, and can glide if power is lost. Skyfly quotes a range of more than 100 miles, a cruise speed of 100 mph and a 200 kg payload, and is pursuing FAA Light Sport certification under the MOSAIC rules, with first deliveries planned for 2027.
