About
shift is microagi's consumer and worker-facing product that records how physical work actually happens and turns it into training-ready data for robot models. Its pitch is "Work once. Earn twice.": people's everyday work is the data that powers AI, and shift pays them for it. It drew attention in 2026 for offering free apartment cleanings in New York in exchange for first-person footage of the cleaning (per Business Insider).
