About
The Gravity command-line tool is the supported way for AI agents on a Mac, such as Claude Code, Codex or custom scripts, to use Gravity notes. Installed with Homebrew (tristanmanchester/tap/gravity-cli) alongside the Gravity Mac app, it can list the note stream, search notes the way the app does, print, add, append and edit notes, rescue, archive, trash and restore them, and report tags, stats and sync status, plus export and import. The Mac app can copy a setup prompt that has an agent install the tool, check access and read a short guide written for agents.
