About
Deno is an open-source JavaScript runtime with built-in TypeScript support, npm and Node.js compatibility, a permission-based security model and an integrated toolchain, including the ability to compile apps into standalone executables. Following the Deno team's move to Cloudflare announced in October 2026, the runtime will get monthly bug-fix and security releases for another year and will remain open source for the community to continue.
