FDA breakthrough-designated implant for intuitive upper-limb prosthetic control
RESTORE is Blue Arbor Technologies' implantable neuromuscular interface system for people with upper limb loss. It reads signals from peripheral nerves to give independent, simultaneous control of a prosthetic's fingers, wrist and elbow. The company says it has FDA Breakthrough Device designation and completed a first-in-human procedure in 2026.
