CRIS-0 is Aether AI's Causal Robotic Intelligence System. It combines a Causality-guided Robot Agent, which organizes task execution around causal state transitions, with a Causal World Model that predicts the physical consequences of actions. From a small set of demonstrations it identifies task-relevant variables, breaks a task into stages with verification checks, and chooses among learned policies, rule-based tools, navigation modules or the world model, replanning when outcomes don't match predictions. Its first public demonstration, released October 8, 2026, showed it running household tasks such as coffee pouring and pick-and-place on a physical robot.
