American rare earth metals for motors, robots, and defense
Solcoa Industries produces magnet-grade rare earth metals in the United States using a proprietary halide-free metallization process and in-house modular reactors. The company currently produces neodymium-praseodymium and samarium metal at its Alameda, California facility and is building Solcoa One, a planned 500-tonne-per-year plant in Nevada. In September 2026 it announced $75 million in financing ($45M equity led by Bain Capital Ventures plus $30M debt/equipment financing anchored by J.P. Morgan) to scale production.
