The Good Food Institute (GFI) is a donor-funded nonprofit that accelerates the development of plant-based, cultivated, and fermentation-derived meat alternatives by funding open-access research, advocating for public investment in alternative proteins, and engaging the private sector. GFI operates in critical regions including the US, Europe, Brazil, India, Israel, Japan, and Asia Pacific. It publishes research resources and annual reports and works to make alternative proteins as affordable and delicious as conventional meat.
