Synth provides a desktop app (Synth Desktop) for Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 14+ that runs the Laguna XS model on-device, with optional cloud model access. A research harness (Stack) supports prototype development, hill-climbing evaluations, and scalable cloud runs. The nightly macOS build requires no Synth account for core features; hosted features and the API are optional. Minimum requirement is 16 GB unified memory (32 GB recommended for Laguna XS).
