Subvocal is a pair of glasses from The Subvocal Company that turns deliberate silent speech into text and computer commands, so people can write, message, code and talk to AI without speaking aloud. It does not use cameras. The company says its prototypes decode open-ended silent speech at more than 200 words per minute. Preorders are open in the US with a $199 refundable deposit toward a $499 early-bird price, with shipping estimated for Q1 2027.
