Sentient OS is a free, open-source macOS application that uses a custom on-device LLM (Gemma 4 E4B via a LiteRT-LM fork) running nightly on Apple silicon to read iMessage, WhatsApp, Apple Notes, Gmail, and Calendar and surface drafted replies, reminders, and reports the user wakes up to. All computation happens locally with no accounts and no raw data leaving the device. The inference engine uses kv cache reuse, flash attention, and speculative decoding and supports 8 GB Macs. Sentient OS is a product of Sentient OS.
