Midplane sits in front of a Postgres database as an MCP server and decides what each query can do at parse time, logging every decision to an append-only audit log before execution. It masks sensitive column values so agents only see permitted data, enforces tenant isolation with separate keys per tenant, and provides least-privilege access per agent revocable in one click.
