Lexius uses camera AI to watch checkout lanes and self-checkout kiosks, comparing what crosses the scan window against the POS transaction log item by item to detect skip-scans, sweethearting, banana tricks, bottom-of-basket items, ticket switching, and void abuse. It alerts cashiers in real time to re-scan missed items and prompts kiosk shoppers to scan undetected items before leaving.
