About
Pier is a Windows 10/11 app that mounts remote storage as a local drive letter: WebDAV (Nextcloud, ownCloud, Synology, QNAP, Apache, IIS), SFTP over SSH (password or OpenSSH keys) and NFSv3. It uses the open-source Dokany driver, so Explorer, Office, backup tools and scripts work on the drive as on a local disk. A block cache on the local disk keeps large files fast, interrupted transfers resume, a dropped connection is re-dialled on its own and a drive keeps working offline. Interface in 16 languages. Free for up to 5 drives with all protocols and features; Pro is USD 19 per year for unlimited drives and no ads.
