Hilstart is a hardware testing platform where an AI agent called Tracer converts design files (schematics, netlist, BoM, KiCad/Altium imports, requirements) into an approved specification and then autonomously writes test scripts, flashes firmware, and runs validation on real hardware. Tests are read-only by default and actuation requires explicit user approval. Linked reports are tied to specific firmware builds and test files.
