Force-sensing wearable that captures grip force and contact data from human demonstrations as training data for embodied AI.
The Hemlock Bracelet uses a ring of dry electrodes to capture the electrical drive sent from the brain to muscles, recording force, grip, and intent at the source without cameras or line-of-sight requirements. It provides force-labeled demonstrations for robotics AI that video and joint-angle data cannot supply — measurements per grasp, finger by finger, frame-aligned with video. The device targets assembly lines, warehouses, workshops, and labs where everyday work shifts become thousands of contact-rich demonstrations; a limited beta cohort is currently being onboarded.
