Edda is a lightweight autonomous counter-drone point defense turret built by 9 Mothers for US Government and defense contractors. It uses passive acoustic detection and an in-house visual tracking model — zero RF emissions — to engage FPV suicide drones at 10–100+ meters range. Weighing under 23 kg, it slews at 5 degrees in under 15 ms with 1.5 arcminute precision paired with a shotgun effector. Edda is currently shipping with multiple contracts to the Department of War; the kill chain also includes Vor (passive acoustic sensor), Atla (belt-fed shotgun), and Gleipnir (counter-Shahed) coming in 2027.
