Fast, non-invasive point-of-care screening test for deep vein thrombosis
DVTect places a sensor on the calf, applies a percussive stimulus to the muscle, and analyses the recorded oscillation waveform in software to indicate the presence of a DVT. It is being designed as a fast, cost-effective bedside alternative to ultrasound and blood tests that needs minimal special skills to operate.
