Atlas is a project graph built by Synthetic Sciences that holds hypotheses, experiments, branches, and results in a continuous structure designed for solo and team human-AI research collaboration. Synthetic Sciences also develops foundation models for scientific reasoning using long-horizon problem solving and RL environments with experimental outcomes as rewards, and publishes FrontierML as their first public benchmark for measuring scientific AI capability.
