Altay Therapeutics has developed a platform that identifies novel allosteric sites on transcription factors — historically considered undruggable — to design highly selective small molecule inhibitors. Lead programs include DX5057, the first oral DUX4 inhibitor for facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy (FSHD) with preclinical efficacy comparable to leading IV gene-targeting therapies, and a best-in-class STAT3 inhibitor with nanomolar potency for inflammatory diseases and oncology.
