Independent Cyprus accounting services with defined workloads, routine support and owner access to shared Sumly records.
Accountly.cy connects Cyprus businesses with independent accountants through a service arrangement built around an agreed workload and shared digital records. The owner receives their own Sumly access, allowing them to view their information alongside the professional's work rather than request every figure separately. The software supports the relationship; the independent accountant provides the professional judgement and contracted accounting service. Before a handover, the business and accountant agree the scope, price and Sumly licence terms, the records the customer must supply and responsibility for review, approvals and submission. A deadline calendar and handover date help establish how the work will proceed. This process is intended to keep the owner's obligations and the professional's responsibilities visible from the start. The core bookkeeping package is €290 per month excluding VAT for one Cyprus entity, up to 50 source transactions and two bank or payment accounts. Quarterly VAT returns, routine support and a Sumly licence are included within that workload. Onboarding from reconciled opening balances costs €250 excluding VAT. The package is not an unlimited accounting department: annual accounts, corporate tax returns, payroll and independent audit are separately scoped rather than automatically included in the recurring fee. Businesses can arrange additional services individually. Published prices include VAT returns from €200 per return; payroll at €45 per employee monthly with a €90 minimum for up to ten employees; annual accounts from €850 for a straightforward year with completed books and up to 600 transactions; and corporate tax from €450 annually. Self-employed accounting starts at €190 monthly. Management reporting is €250 per reporting month, and catch-up bookkeeping starts at €150 per month behind with a €450 minimum and stated limits of 50 transactions and two accounts per month. Final work and applicable VAT follow the accepted agreement. The combination is useful for an owner who wants routine accounting handled efficiently while retaining access to the records. A defined workload makes service quotes easier to compare, and the shared digital environment can reduce repeated requests and separate administrative handoffs. It also helps a customer distinguish bookkeeping from year-end, tax, payroll and audit requirements instead of assuming every obligation is covered by one headline price. The strongest fit is a small business or self-employed person with ordinary transactions, accurate source documents and the ability to provide records and approvals on time. Complex groups, international tax planning, unusual transactions or disputed historical figures may call for a broader specialist engagement. Accountly's correction and qualifying direct late-fine commitments apply under written service terms, including the agreed work, deadlines and claims process and required client cooperation. These commitments do not remove the need for accurate records or cover every tax exposure, penalty or business loss.
