About
Zero Industries, PBC is a San Francisco-based space energy startup founded in 2026 by a Japanese team led by CEO Kai Sugihara, CTO Yusei Fujii and COO Koya Tani. Its first business, Helios, is a planned service that would transmit solar-generated electricity between satellites using lasers. In October 2026 it announced a US$3 million pre-seed round led by Maezawa Fund, with UntroD Capital Japan, NOW, Midtown and individual investors.
