Yam (Yam AI) is a Y Combinator Fall 2026 startup building AI-powered dating sim and romance simulation games for women. Players pick or describe a world, such as a reality dating villa or their own K-drama, and play alongside AI characters that remember their choices, react to them and text them, with relationships and storylines that evolve over time. Founded in 2026 in San Francisco by Shan Zhong, Crystal Shan and Qinyu (Cosima) Qin, former Meta and TikTok builders, Yam launched publicly on the web in November 2026 with iOS and Android apps planned.
