About
Xverse builds a self-custodial Bitcoin wallet that it positions as a sovereign onchain bank. Launched in 2021 and available on iOS, Android and as a Chrome extension, it lets users buy, store and send BTC, manage Ordinals, Runes and BRC-20 assets, connect Ledger and Keystone hardware wallets, and access Bitcoin layers such as Stacks, Starknet and Spark for earning yield, stablecoin payments and borrowing against bitcoin while keeping control of their keys. It also offers the Xverse API for Bitcoin developers. CEO is Ken Liao. On October 5, 2026 Xverse announced a strategic funding round led by Draper Associates with Trust Machines and Draper Dragon participating; terms were not disclosed.
