On October 13, 2026 XBOW said it had won $250,000 from Google's Chrome bug bounty programme for a full-chain Chrome exploit (three bugs across V8, the animated WebP decoder and Crashpad, all since fixed by Google) built in six days by its researchers working with AI agents running OpenAI's GPT-5.6 Sol, which it describes as the first full-chain award under rules Google introduced in April 2026.
