Whizzo is a Bengaluru-based materials science startup founded in 2024 by Shrestha Kukreja that develops and manufactures technical textiles, fashion textiles, yarns and fibres, and offers textile design and contract research and development services. Inc42 describes it as India's first contract development and manufacturing organisation (CDMO) platform for technical textiles. It raised a $4.2M seed round led by Lightspeed and a roughly $15M Series A led by Fundamentum with LB Investment Fund and Lightspeed. In October 2026 Inc42 reported, citing sources, that it is in talks to raise about $26M in a Series B that could be co-led by Aavishkaar Capital and Bertelsmann Investments.
