About

Warhound is a Texas-based defense technology company conceived by Colossal Biosciences CEO Ben Lamm and Anduril co-founder Palmer Luckey, and led by CEO David Spirk, previously the U.S. Department of Defense's first chief data officer. It aims to rebuild America's domestic supply of working dogs for the military, law enforcement and emergency response by biobanking and cloning top-performing dogs, using licensed Colossal genetics technology to improve traits such as health and performance, and equipping the dogs with Anduril hardware and software. Its training programs are certified by the American Humane Society. Warhound emerged from stealth in October 2026 with a $200 million seed round at a reported $1.2 billion valuation, backed by investors including Sequoia Capital, In-Q-Tel, ARK Invest, 8VC and Lux Capital.
