VoltR is a French manufacturer of eco-designed lithium batteries made from second-life cells. It runs an integrated model from collecting used batteries to AI-assisted cell diagnostics and producing new batteries for power tools, micromobility, home automation, smart cities and mobile energy storage, and offers repair and remanufacturing services, including with Valeo. Founded in 2022 by Alban Regnier, François Mallet, Thibaud Maufront and Maxime Bleskine (CEO); it says it has placed more than 20,000 batteries on the market. In October 2026 it secured €22M, combining €16M of equity from Bpifrance's SPI 2 fund and Decathlon PULSE with €6M in grants, to expand its Verrières-en-Anjou plant.
