About
Unravel Health is a London-based women's health company developing the Micro Lab, a palm-sized at-home device designed to read multiple hormones, including oestradiol and three other key hormones, from a saliva sample in minutes, enabling repeated day-to-day hormone tracking between one-off blood tests and wearable estimates. Its biosensor technology was developed over about ten years at the University of Glasgow and is protected by three granted patents. Founded in 2024 by CEO Veronika Bridgman, CCO Liza Levy and CMO Dr Alexandra Oti, it raised a £2.5 million pre-seed round in October 2026 led by Conduit EIS Impact Fund and Wrightwood, building on over £1 million from Innovate UK, the Medical Research Council, SBRI, angels and Zinc. First early-access devices are planned for 2027 through pharmacy, digital health and clinical research partners.
