About
Thesys is a San Francisco company that builds generative UI infrastructure so AI apps and agents can respond with interactive dashboards, forms, charts and screens instead of plain text. It maintains the open-source OpenUI framework and operates OpenUI Cloud for production use. OpenUI 1.0 was promoted in mid-October 2026 as an open standard that works with existing models, agent frameworks and component libraries.
