Retrofittable autonomy software and robots for factories, warehouses and industrial sites
Tensrai (Tensrai Technologies Private Limited) is a Hyderabad-based physical AI startup building a unified, retrofittable autonomy platform that lets purpose-built robots and the vehicles and machines industrial sites already own carry out physical tasks on their own. Its stack focuses on vision-first navigation and AI-based localisation so machines can operate without heavy fixed infrastructure, targeting autonomous material handling and cleaning across factories, warehouses, airports, hospitals and commercial campuses, and it is also developing a general-purpose mobile manipulator. The company was incorporated in March 2022 and is led by CEO Sai Nikhil Rao Gona with co-founders Venkata Sai Charan Chalamalasetty, Harshith Uppalapati and Vivek Datta. In October 2026 it raised a ₹3.4 crore pre-seed round backed by India Accelerator, Finvolve, Hyderabad Angels and other angel investors.
