Tactful AI is an Egyptian startup founded in 2016 by Mohamed Elmasry (CEO) and Mohamed Hassan that builds an agentic AI customer experience (CX) platform. It combines a unified inbox across channels, AI agents, live analytics, governance and workflow automation so businesses can manage customer interactions and analyse conversations, and it is developing technology to let enterprises build and change end-to-end CX workflows in-house with human sign-off at each step. It has teams in Cairo and Cambridge, UK. In October 2026 former e& Group CEO Hatem Dowidar invested an undisclosed amount through an extension of its pre-Series A round, first announced in February 2026 and co-led by Foras AI and M Empire, according to Wamda.
