Stenon is a Potsdam-based soil data company whose FarmLab platform combines a portable sensor device, AI and software to measure key soil parameters such as nitrogen directly in the field and turn them into agronomic recommendations, without waiting for lab results. It sells through and to input retailers, machinery dealers, agricultural consultants and food producers, and operates in the DACH region, Brazil, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, Greece and California. Founded in Germany in 2018 and led by CEO Niels Grabbert, it raised seed funding led by Cherry Ventures and a $20M Series A led by Founders Fund and The Production Board, then announced an €18M Series B in 2026. In October 2026 Yara Growth Ventures invested in a second close of the Series B, according to FinSMEs.
