About

Stellios Technologies is an Austin, Texas company developing high-energy power systems. Its first commercial focus is MW-class high-power microwave systems, including the klystrons, gyrotrons and high-voltage power systems that drive them, for counter-drone and counter-electronics defense and industrial uses such as geothermal drilling, materials processing and fusion plasma heating. It also runs a compact aneutronic fusion research program for energy and propulsion, and builds Stellios Genesis, an AI-native engineering platform. Founded in 2026 by Caltech PhD Dr. Richard Starson, previously co-founder of Escape Dynamics, it emerged from stealth in October 2026 with a $5 million pre-seed round and reported $2 million in signed purchase orders.
