Sonilo is a San Francisco video-to-audio AI startup founded by former TikTok AI and music leaders, led by CEO and co-founder Shawn Song. Its multimodal Sound World Model reads a clip's movement and emotional shifts and generates a timed soundtrack and sound effects, from an uploaded video, a text description, or both. Sonilo says its models are trained on licensed music, including content authorized through Shutterstock, and offers paid plans for commercial use plus a developer API. In October 2026 Variety reported an $11 million round led by B Capital with Redpoint participating.
