It gives vertical software platforms, managing general agents (MGAs), insurance distributors and the capital providers behind them one API-connected system that automates the data-heavy administrative workflows of embedded programs, with every decision auditable, reconcilable and explainable, and no minimum program size. Its focus is small policies sold at checkout in markets such as travel, amateur sports, equipment rental and the gig economy. Based in Minneapolis, Slingshot emerged from stealth on 22 October 2026 with a 27 million dollar seed round co-led by Rally Ventures and Skyward Group.
