About
Skapion is a defence-technology company building a native counter-swarm C-UAS (counter-drone) air-defence platform designed to detect, track and kinetically intercept large coordinated drone swarms in a single engagement. Its all-in-one architecture combines detection, interceptors, a launch pod and command-and-control in distributed, mobile nodes with no central single point of failure, aimed at protecting critical infrastructure, maritime assets, mobile forces, borders and data centres. Founding architect is Brig. Gen. (res.) Pini Yungman, former GM of Rafael's Air & Missile Defense division and developer of Iron Dome and David's Sling; Ido Bar-on is CEO and Gal Goren is CTO. The company has offices in Ramat Gan, Israel and Brooklyn, New York. On October 15, 2026 it unveiled the system publicly and announced a $36 million seed round led by UP.Partners and Khosla Ventures.
