Shortgun Games is an independent video game studio based in Mumbai, India, co-founded by Jeet Chandan and Vidhit Mehta. Founded in 2022, it initially focused on Web3 and mobile games before pivoting to PC and console games in 2024. Its flagship title, Takedown: Genesis (also referred to as Project Takedown), is a cinematic, single-player action-adventure in development for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and it is also building the co-op indie game Roll 'em Out. In November 2026 actor Mahesh Babu joined as a strategic investor for an undisclosed amount.
