About
Sava (Sava Technologies) is a London HealthTech company building a wearable biosensor platform that measures molecules just beneath the skin, painlessly and continuously. Its first product is a glucose microsensor whose sensors are about ten times shorter than the filament in traditional continuous glucose monitors, and the platform is designed to track other biomarkers too. Founded in 2019 by Imperial College London bioengineers Renato Circi and Rafaël Michali, it announced a $36M Series B in October 2026 led by Ascensia with Balderton Capital, Norrsken VC, Simplyhealth Ventures, JamJar Investments and Pentland Ventures, and appointed Ascensia as its commercialisation and distribution partner, initially in Europe (per EU-Startups).
