Salmon Group is a financial services holding company building a technology-led banking and lending platform for Southeast Asia, starting in the Philippines. It operates through two licensed entities: Salmon Bank, a rural bank licensed by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, and Salmon Finance, a financing company licensed by the Philippine SEC, and serves customers through the Salmon app, which uses an AI-driven credit engine to make lending decisions in minutes. Its products include the Salmon Credit Line and in-store lending. In October 2026, FinTech Global reported that Salmon raised a further $140 million (PHP 8.8 billion), $90 million committed by Spice Expeditions, WashU and Moore plus $50 million from bond proceeds, to grow its lending lines and launch motorcycle and MSME loans.
