About
sAInaptic builds domain-trained AI for marking, feedback and moderation of open-ended assessments, aimed at awarding organisations, training providers and assessment platforms, particularly in apprenticeships and vocational education. Its engine marks short answers, essays, reports, case studies, e-portfolios and image and video evidence against an organisation's own mark schemes, with human markers reviewing results, and adds continuous quality assurance, assessment authoring and analytics. It was co-founded by Dr Rajeshwari Iyer (CEO) and Kavitha Ravindran. In October 2026 Tech Funding News reported a £1M seed round led by Cornerstone VC and Ufi Ventures, with Elm and Brighteye participating.
