Rozvelt
Montréal maker of breath-filtering headgear for hunters, expanding into modular respiratory protection for defence
About
Rozvelt is a Montréal hardware startup founded by Université de Montréal graduates Nicholas Monette (CEO) and George Korkejian. Its consumer product, Vektr, is magnetic head-mounted headgear that filters odour particles from the wearer's exhaled breath to reduce scent detection for hunters, wildlife photographers and nature observers. The company is expanding into modular respiratory protection that mounts magnetically to helmets for military, law enforcement and first responders, with filter cartridges for threats such as lead particles, wildfire smoke and viruses. In October 2026 it announced a 3.1 million Canadian dollar seed round from angel investors led by Benoit Robert, according to BetaKit.
