Autonomous industrial robotics for mid-sized manufacturers, offered with zero upfront cost
RobCo is a Munich-founded industrial robotics company (founded 2020 by Roman Hölzl, Paul Maroldt and Constantin Dresel) that builds modular, configurable robots and AI-driven autonomy software for tasks like machine tending, palletizing, materials handling and finishing. It offers its robots through a robotics-as-a-service model with no upfront cost, and also operates from Austin and San Francisco for U.S. growth. In January 2026 it raised a $100M Series C co-led by Lightspeed and Lingotto, and on October 5, 2026 it announced a valuation above $1 billion in a transaction combining new investment with an employee secondary share sale, with new investors Cherry Ventures and European Tech Collective joining existing backers including Sequoia and Lightspeed.
