Modular spacecraft tiles that assemble themselves in orbit
Rendezvous Robotics builds modular spacecraft that launch as compact, independent tiles and then autonomously maneuver, align and connect in orbit to form larger spacecraft that can be expanded and reconfigured after launch. Its technology builds on MIT's TESSERAE research. Based in Golden, Colorado, it announced a $20 million oversubscribed seed round on October 28, 2026, co-led by MaC Venture Capital and Toyota Ventures, ahead of a low-Earth-orbit demonstration planned no earlier than April 2028.
