Ren (Ren Human Systems, Inc.) is a San Francisco startup building ren, an AI personal concierge that handles hard errands such as hard-to-get tickets, fully booked restaurants, refunds and cancellations. Ren places real phone calls with a fully automated voice system, waits on hold, navigates websites, fills in forms and keeps following up until a task is done, asking for the user's approval before paying for or committing to anything. It is built around privacy: personal context stays on the phone or in Apple Private Cloud Compute, memory is encrypted, a separate system enforces user-set limits, and ren never sees passwords or card numbers. The company says ren has completed more than 1,300 real-world tasks; it is in private beta on iOS. Ren was part of the PearX batch that presented at Pear VC's demo day in late September 2026.
