Reaction Dynamics (RDX) is a rocket company founded in 2017 and based in Longueuil, Quebec, developing light- and medium-lift launch capabilities using storable propellants for commercial, civil and defence missions, and also working on defence and in-space propulsion. Its light-lift Aurora rocket is designed for payloads under half a tonne, with a first orbital launch from Canadian soil targeted for 2028. In October 2026 it unveiled Borealis, a medium-lift rocket designed to carry six tonnes to low Earth orbit by 2031, and told BetaKit it plans to raise C$350 million and add nearly 300 employees over five years.
