About

Quint Computing is an Erlangen, Germany quantum computing startup developing superconducting quantum processors with a patented multilayer architecture that suppresses most errors directly within the circuit elements, so error-correction algorithms only need to catch what remains. A spin-off from Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) and part of the Munich Quantum Valley ecosystem, it was founded in October 2025 by Prof. Christopher Eichler (CEO), Prof. Michael Hartmann (CTO) and Dr. Jona Stinner. On November 3, 2026 it announced a €9.1M first funding round led by Vsquared Ventures, plus a €2.2M EIC Pathfinder grant.
