PreScalar is a test and data platform for advanced manufacturing. It deploys modular test station hardware and software into factories to automate production testing, manage firmware deployment and capture device-level data and traceability across factory, lab and field environments, aimed at makers of software-defined hardware in autonomous vehicles, automotive, robotics, consumer electronics and defense. Founded in 2025 in San Francisco by Skyler Salman, John Cathcart and Ben Fredrickson, veterans of Cruise, Rivian, Waymo, Google and Lucid, it announced a 7 million dollar seed round co-led by Dynamo Ventures and BMW i Ventures, with Blue Wire Capital, Uplift Ventures and Antler participating, on 22 October 2026.
