Popcorn AI Studio (POPCORN) is a Dubai-based AI video platform for filmmakers and production houses. Users define the lens, camera movement, lighting and cast and generate shots, with studios for video, image and audio covering scripting, storyboards, voiceover, lip-sync and post-production, and a focus on Arabic language, dialects and cultural authenticity. It was founded by Shady Essam and Mohamed Hedar. In October 2026 it announced a $1M pre-seed round led by Emirati entrepreneur and investor Mohammed Bin Bouta Alharsoosi to expand across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt.
